About ME....

Currently I am TRYING to be patient while I am waiting for my fiancee to get back from Iraq, he left on April 8th, 2008 (the day of his birthday). I have been through alot in a little time!!! Picking myself back up right now from all the things that tried to bring me down. I am hoping to finish at Sierra College within a year from now. Going to school and taking care of my elderly grandmother before she passed was hard so I took a total of a year and a half off. This class is my first FUN class since being back in school. I am trying to think of what else to say, my favorite color in pink, I was a lifegaurd at Sunsplash for 3 years, and I am a complete goof I like to have fun with everything I am doing. I am learning that there is no point in focusing on the negative when there is so much positive in the world. If there is anything else you would like to know about me....ASK...I feel like there is alot I want to say but don't know what else to say!!!!

Welcome Kristina! I couldn't imagine being in your situation with your fiance away in Iraq, I'd be a wreck. You're a strong woman! Oh & there's nothing wrong with being a goof =]

Rocklin is SO much better than San Jose. I wouldn't have said that before when I was living out there but it's just more family oriented, people are more considerate out here too, haha. My kids are 3 years old and 1 month old. A definite handful =]

Hi Kristina,
By the way I love your blog!! This is my first time trying it and I'm running out of time to make it better. I'm taking also other classes to complete my bachelors. It's must be tough that your boyfriend is gone.... Hopefully God will keep him safe. You are a great person, you took care of your grandmother. Don't everybody does it and it's challenging. My mom did it for 3 years with her mom and it was tough. By the way Cool is nice but I want to go back to San Diego someday!! And I have 2 American Eskimos and they are full of energy and love to chase the deer around here. You can have both of them...

Hi again,
My dogs are a little annoying at times but I loved them! I was just kidding!! Peru has three areas, the coast, the highlands and the rainforest. I grew up 10 minutes from the beach and also the food is great! There is a lot of flavor but not spicy and all the fish and seafood is fresh. There are a lot beach communities outside the city and that's where I spent my summers growing up. When I lived in San Diego I learned to surf and I really enjoy any water activities. But most people that go to Peru, go to Cuzco in the highlands to visit Machu Pichu. It's an amazing experience. I plan to visist next february, because it'll be summer there and I'll be done with school. I really need to get away!!

Thanks! I cant wait for the beginning of July to come around so that I can have an actual summer and be able to spend time with my boyfriend finally! I totally could never do what you are going through though! I thought having my boyfriend away at school was hard... but what you are going through is WAY harder! I also have two friends in the Army to though, one of which is my boyfriends best friend and I just talked to him yesterday and he deploys next friday and is quite nervous but also excited! It is really hard to have someone close to you in the Army though! but I will stop talking now lol hope to talk to you soon!

Haha yea I had Mr. Burns for my first college chemistry class-I'm not sure if you heard of him but it was kind of discouraging at first. Hopefully it will get better from there! It's really impressive that you are picking yourself up after all the obstacles you have faced! Good luck in school!

Hang in there, I was in the military for 7 years and was always away from my family. I have 2 cousins in Iraq and Afghanistan so I still pull for the troops. My daughter is 2 weeks ago and is completely adorable but she loves to keep me up all night. I'll talk to you later -JB

That has to be so hard that your fiancee is in Iraq, you seem like such a strong girl even after everything you have gone through. hang in there. this seem likes such a fun class already, a nice break from other classes. good luck with everything!

You are definitely a very strong person for everything you have gone through and having your fiancee in Irag. Thanks for the comment earlier on my blog. My team is actually the Giants, which is new for me. And no it's not because they won the Super Bowl, but because my favorite player, David Carr, just got signed by them. I've been following him since college and stuck with him through some bad years in Houston. Who's your team?
